"Lokah Samastha Sukhino Bhavantu"
Marcela first came to yoga after she moved to London in 2010. While working in her eco-friendly business and trying to deal with the stress of daily life in a big city, she found numerous benefits in the practice which improved her quality of life. In 2016, she decided to travel to India where she completed her first 200HR Yoga Teacher Training at Rishikesh Yogpeeth School. After her qualification, she had no doubt about her path and jumped headfirst into her teaching career in London. In April 2017, she traveled to Dharamshala, where she completed her advanced 300HR Teacher Training at Hatha Yoga World Center. She is forever grateful to her teachers in India.
Back in the UK, she completed 40HR of Yin Teacher Training at Triyoga, under the guidance 0f Sarah Lo. Marcela dedicated her time teaching Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga in London, whilst practicing and studying. She expresses her gratitude to all her teachers, in particular: Marcus Veda (Rocket Yoga), Emi Tull (Dharma Yoga), and Stewart Gilchrist (Dynamic Vinyasa).
Exploring traditional yoga from a modern perspective, her teaching can be described as intelligently sequenced Vinyasa Flow focused on alignment, precise movement, breath, and hands-on adjustments with music playing an integral role in the class.
From an Italian family, Marcela was born and raised in Brazil before moving to London where she lived for almost 10 years. Currently, she's been teaching and practicing in Malmo, Sweden.
